It's that time of year again when the entire musical instrument industry convenes on Anaheim, California, to showcase the latest innovations and trends. Since we know that most musicians aren’t lucky enough to be able to attend, we'd like to give you a rundown of the new electric and acoustic guitars from major manufacturers that are making their debut at NAMM this year. More detail will be coming over the next several days and weeks, and we’ll be adding new information as we get it. We didn't think you'd want to wait that long, so buckle up, gearheads, and let's dive into the potential NGD (New Guitar Day, if you didn't know) pool.

First, we'd like to offer a quick look at what’s new in acoustic guitars from a number of leading manufacturers.
Córdoba
Córdoba is showing their new Fusion 12 White Sands acoustic-electric nylon-string guitar, which features upgraded aesthetics, electronics and playability. Aimed at making an impression on stage, this new cutaway model features Córdoba's proprietary Exotic Top construction, wedding a flamed maple veneer to a solid spruce top. The top matches the flamed maple back and sides, creating a distinctive look and a tone that's bright and snappy with a sweet high-end response. It also has their comfortable Fusion neck profile and built-in Fishman Presys Blend preamp.

Fender
For 2025, Fender is expanding the accessible range of their Acoustasonic series with the new Acoustasonic Standard line. This sub-$1,000 line is designed to put Acoustasonic technology within reach of a wider audience. Debuting are the Acoustasonic Standard Telecaster and Jazzmaster, both featuring Fender's proprietary Acoustasonic bracing on a solid spruce top and the revolutionary hybrid pickup systems that won the original Acoustasonic a "Best In Show" award at the 2019 NAMM.
Ibanez
For 2025, Ibanez is introducing a plethora of new acoustic guitars that are sure to impress even the most discerning players. For this article, we're taking a quick look at three of them. Starting with the PN50 parlor-sized acoustic in an understated brown sunburst finish, this affordable guitar is ideal for fingerstyle playing, folk and blues.

Next is the AJ70M1E Jumbo acoustic-electric. With great projection and a huge, resonant sound, it's a great flatpicking instrument, with a solid Sitka spruce top that brings classic clarity to the tone.

Last but not least we have the TCY621 Talman acoustic-electric with its unique body style, inspired by Ibanez's Talman electric series. This guitar is a great crossover model for electric players who want an acoustic that still maintains rock ’n’ roll attitude.

Martin
Martin celebrates an anniversary, refreshes their Standard Series and introduces new models, including a new signature series this year. First up are the 100th anniversary models of Martin's ukuleles. Harkening back to the heyday of the "ukulele orchestra" craze of the 1920s, there are two models, including a very limited run of ukes made with rare sinker mahogany.
Next, the Standard Series gets a refresh, with Golden Age bracing, a vintage-style neck heel and a comfortable beveled-edge fingerboard. A new Retro Plus line, including a 000E Mahogany Grand Auditorium and DE Mahogany Dreadnought, is added to the upper end of Martin's Road Series, featuring vintage-style appointments and torrified spruce tops.
Martin also will be showing a pair of new signature models from bluegrass phenom Billy Strings. The Billy Strings Signature D-28 is based on his personal pre-war D-28, while the Billy Strings D-X2E is a more accessible, acoustic-electric version with Martin's popular HPL back and sides, and a solid spruce top. Both feature a slightly shorter, 25" scale length for easier playability.
But there’s more. If you’ve ever wanted to emulate Jimmy Page riffing on his iconic electric doubleneck, but, well, you’re an acoustic player, the Martin Grand J-28E Double Neck Acoustic-Electric gives you the chance. This 6- and 12-string combo features a solid spruce top, solid East Indian rosewood back and sides, ebony fingerboards and Fishman electronics. A left-handed model is also available.

Even Martin CEO Thomas Ripsam joined the new product party by conceiving the Martin CEO-11 0000 Grand Auditorium Acoustic-Electric in an exquisite New Horizons Blue Burst finish. Taylor
Taylor is announcing the release of a new premium series inspired by the classic acoustics of the 1930s and ’40s with refined aesthetics to match—the Gold Label Series. These premium instruments feature new designs from Taylor’s Master Designer, Andy Powers, including a new spin on the revolutionary V-Class bracing, new long-tenon neck joint and new body-style—the Super Auditorium.
Taylor also debuts a new addition to their 400 Series, the 414ce Studio. This simplified, more accessible version of the popular 414ce features a torrefied spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and Taylor's ES2 electronics.

There are some exciting developments in the world of electric guitars launching at NAMM 2025, and we'd like to share some of the most notable ones with you.
Charvel
Charvel, one of the original "Super Strat" pioneers, pays homage to their roots with Pro-Mod San Dimas and Pro-Mod Plus San Dimas models. The Pro-Mod flavor boasts Charvel's speed neck profile on a graphite-reinforced maple neck, paired with a 12"–16" compound-radius maple or rosewood fingerboard, classic Seymour Duncan JB/’59 humbucker combination and a Floyd Rose 1000 series double-locking tremolo.

The Pro-Mod Plus takes it up a notch with a caramelized maple neck, rolled-edge ebony and caramelized maple fingerboards and hyper-fast D neck profile. EVH
EVH is featuring the Wolfgang TOM (Tune-o-matic) models in their latest NAMM showcase. The Wolfgang TOM Standard varies from the standard EVH Wolfgang with a hardtail Tune-o-matic bridge for improved sustain and rock-solid tuning stability. The Wolfgang TOM Special is also offers a custom EVH compensated bridge with fine-tuners for quick adjustments on the fly. It also features a baked maple neck with the classic EVH carve.
Fender
Fresh off the heels of the Stratocaster’s 70th anniversary, Fender announces the resurrection of their Standard Series models. The original made-in-Mexico (MIM) Standard Series Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars were produced from 1991–2018, and were succeeded by the wildly popular Player Series. The revived Standard Series transfers production to Indonesia for the first time in the brand’s history and offers beginning or intermediate players a genuine, quality Fender Strat or Tele for $599. The Fender Standard Stratocaster, Stratocaster HSS and Telecaster all feature a maple or laurel fretboard with 9.5" radius, modern C-shaped neck profile, poplar body in a variety of finishes and Fender Standard single-coil and humbucking pickups.
Fender’s American Vintage II collection has also been revamped for 2025 with a limited-run ’51 Telecaster in Prototype White; two color swaps for the existing ’57 Strat and ’66 Jazzmaster models, refinished in black and Sherwood Green Metallic respectively, and the brand-new addition of a ’65 Stratocaster in Shoreline Gold, Sonic Blue and Candy Apple Red. Last but not least, the best-selling Player II Series Stratocaster and Telecaster both receive limited-edition makeovers with sparkling three-tone Sunburst finishes and black pickguards.
Gibson
Gibson is announcing a minor refresh on the ES-335 Figured series with the addition of Deep Ocean Burst, Blood Moon Burst and Honey Amber finishes. The standard production ES-335 lineup is also receiving three new finishes: Watermelon, Ocean Blue and Spearmint.

Gretsch
For the 2025 NAMM show, Gretsch is unveiling some new models, new colors and new features that will surely excite the guitar community. The Electromatic LTD Flame Okoume Broadkaster harkens back to classic Gretsch hollowbody and semi-hollowbody designs, while new updates to the Electromatic Series bring fresh looks.

Ibanez
From new semi-hollowbody electrics and updates for the shred-worthy RG line to new multi-scale instruments, Ibanez is rolling out a lot for NAMM this year. For their Artcore series of semi-hollowbody guitars, there are new Expressionist models, with ever-recognizable "tree-of-life" fingerboard inlays appearing on the AS Artcore and AS93QMSP models , and a couple of new models in the more affordable Artcore AS series. Ibanez also released the AZ24S1F at NAMM 2025, introducing a standard series line to their AZ offerings.
From the RG Series, there are new Iron Label models in 6- and 7-string versions, and new Standard models, including a new multi-scale 6-string. The S series is also getting some love, with new models, including a new Lab Series multi-scale. Finally, Ibanez is showing off the new, premium Joe Satriani Signature Gold electric guitar, featuring a Sustainiac pickup and ultralightweight tremolo setup for a truly Satch-a-licious setup.

Jackson
Jackson unleashed a horde of shred-approved mean machines with bold graphics, as well as blood red, snow white and none-more-black finishes. The Jackson Pro Plus Pure Metal series includes the Rhoads RR1A, Soloist SL1A and Kelly KE1A—all in gloss black with Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers, poplar bodies, ebony fingerboards, Floyd Rose 1000 Series double-locking tremolo systems and more.

The Jackson X Series goes for serious eye candy with a bullseye Soloist SLX DX, and Dinky DK1A models bearing a “flash mob” of green triangles over black, or Warhol-inspired skulls sharing a green-red-black checkerboard design.
