2. Indicate the location of the damage on the cymbal with a piece of tape.

The 20" is so expressive and versatile! It isn't overbearing and clunky like some bigger crashes can be, its warmth and musicality tames the sound and allows the cymbal to be easily controllable. It speaks at so many different dynamics and has a beautiful quick response - it opens up quickly and gets out quickly whilst maintaining just the right amount of sustain. Great for multiple genres too, having used it in pop, rock, alt-rock, metal situations but can imagine that it's wonderful in jazz, hip-hop, gospel, etc. It's cutting and durable enough to play live and is warm, rich and smooth in the studio. It's not going to leave my cymbal bag any time soon that's for sure!

A cymbal that can do it all!

I bought an 18" model to be used as the only cymbal (along with hi-hat) on a mini kit that I take to house parties and acoustic jams. This baby does it all: great ride sound when playing the middle or edge, killer ping ride sound from the bell, and a sweet, controlled crash. It sounds great when played with a brush or "cool rod" as well. Most of my use is soft playing at low-volumes, but this cymbal is capable of being heard under any conditions. I love this thing so much! I fully recommend the 17" or 18" model.

i have the 18 inch crash and MAN does it sound amazing! when i got it i had already liked the K series since playing a set in my schools jazz band. i really liked the sound so i decided to buy the 18 (they had the same one on the jazz set)i got it thinking it was only going to be for when i play jazz but man i was wrong. i can use it for everything and it sounds great for everything i play. i want to get a 16 or 17 to add to my set in the future. i LOVE this cymbal and its %100 worth the money for it!
