  • KEEP THAT STRAT SOUND

These work great keeping the strat sound. I am thinking about getting a hot rail for my bridge just for more output. Otherwise I am very satisfied with these in all three positions.

I love this pickup. I replaced the N3 pickups in my V Neck Strat with 2 STK - S4 and this in the bridge. These pickups added a nice boost to the signal, no harshness, and retained the Strat quack / breathiness. Now the guitar sounds bigger and more alive. IMO if you go with any hotter pickup or rails, you risk losing the sharing characteristics of a Strat.

I ordered thevSTK-s7 hot stack plus Reg white order # GCW2427392066R1. While this appears to be a nice unit, I was led to believe there were 3 included, based on the picture. Clearly I was mistaken. I wish to return the pick in exchange for a set of 3 Tex mex or vintage pickups. The store in Lewisville TX. has a set that would suffice as of yesterday. Should I just take it in and swap?
