collapse expand iconDescription

The PRS SE CE24 Standard Satin electric guitar delivers the renowned quality and craftsmanship of PRS instruments in an accessible, performance-focused design. Featuring a solid mahogany body and a bolt-on maple neck, this guitar combines warmth, resonance, and snap for a dynamic tonal foundation. The satin finish enhances the natural beauty of the mahogany while providing a smooth, comfortable feel. Outfitted with PRS's 85/15 "S" humbuckers, this guitar captures every nuance of your playing with clarity and precision. Whether you're dialing in rich, full-bodied chords or crisp, cutting leads, the CE24 Standard Satin offers a professional-grade experience in both tone and playability, making it a standout choice for discerning players.

Classic PRS Design With Mahogany Body

With its solid mahogany body and meticulous construction, this guitar exemplifies PRS's commitment to quality. The beveled top and ergonomic contours provide a comfortable playing experience, while the satin finish enhances the instrument's visual appeal and tactile feel. The sturdy hardware, including PRS-designed tuners and a molded tremolo bridge, ensures tuning stability and reliable performance. This attention to detail results in an instrument that not only sounds incredible but also stands up to the demands of regular use, making it a dependable companion for both stage and studio work.

Quality PRS Push/Pull Tone Controls for Advanced Guitar Players

The CE24 Standard Satin's simple yet powerful control layout unlocks a wide range of tonal possibilities. Equipped with a master volume knob, a push/pull tone control, and a 3-way toggle switch, this guitar allows you to seamlessly transition between distinct sounds. The push/pull tone knob engages a coil split, delivering bright, single-coil-like tones that are perfect for clean, articulate passages. Push the knob back in, and you're greeted with the full, rich voicing of the dual humbuckers. This intuitive setup gives players the flexibility to shape their sound for a variety of musical scenarios, ensuring every note is delivered with precision and character.

PRS 85/15 "S" Pickups for Clear, Balanced Tone

The 85/15 "S" pickups on this model deliver the exceptional clarity and tonal balance that PRS is known for. The neck humbucker produces warm, rounded tones that are ideal for expressive leads and smooth rhythm playing. The bridge pickup, on the other hand, delivers tight lows and defined highs, making it perfect for punchy riffs and soaring solos. When paired with the push/pull coil split, these pickups offer a dynamic tonal palette that ranges from glassy cleans to gritty, overdriven textures. With their ability to handle both subtle nuances and bold sonic statements, these pickups make this guitar a versatile and inspiring instrument.

Electric Guitar With Comfortable Bolt-On Neck and Satin Finish

The bolt-on maple neck of this guitar provides a crisp, snappy response that complements the warmth of the mahogany body. Its 25" scale length and wide-thin neck profile offer a comfortable playing experience, whether you're navigating intricate solos or laying down robust rhythm parts. The satin finish on the neck enhances playability by reducing friction, allowing your hand to glide effortlessly along the fretboard. This thoughtful design ensures that players can maintain speed and accuracy during long sessions, while the bolt-on construction adds a touch of brightness and sustain to the instrument's overall tone.

A Professional Solid Body Electric Guitar at an Accessible Price

The PRS SE CE24 Standard Satin electric guitar combines premium components, versatile electronics, and exceptional build quality in a package that's accessible to a wide range of players. Oh yeah, it's all PRS.

So I went in to the local GC with the intention of buying a used SE Swamp Ash CE, and i would have except for the weight. When i picked that bad boy up it must have weighed in at 10+ lbs. I didn't even plug it in, it was a no-go just for that reason. Then I picked up this SE CE24 Satin Standard and it was night and day. And i keep hearing youtuber's say this is a student instrument. Well maybe in price only. This is as professional as guitars get, period. Who needs a polyurethane coat, this wood can breathe baby!! I bought the charcoal model. it's sublime, and it's all PRS!! This guitar feels and plays like a PRS, not like a baby toy or introductory instrument at all, And i've owned and played some of Paul's instruments going back to 1976 (i bellieve it was his #9 build), a 1987 Custom24, a 1988 CE, and a few others all the way up thru today's PRS instruments and this surpasses what i expected it to be. Purchase with confidence!!

Not a keeper

Loved the guitar at first. The neck is one of the best I've come across. Problem like most cheap guitars is it won't stay in tune. Got a setup, graphite saddles, SE locking tuners, Core nut....Guess what....still doesn't stay in tune. Going back to the store.

I am 74, I have owned and played many guitars. I ordered this guitar expecting the same old thing, mediocrity. Especially in a mass produced guitar. I have been playing it for a while now and every time I pick it up, I'm amazed by something new. Knowing what I know now, I would say I got way more than my money's worth.

Powerful machine that does anything except dive bombs. The neck is not too large or small, has very easy high fret access, plays well when standing, and has versatile tones with the help of effects. But it's a thin and small guitar with a slippery finish so that it can fall off your lap! Get the gloss ones instead!

  • Well deserving of the recognition it has received

PRS is has a maligned rep of being guitars for cork-sniffing lawyers. This is not that guitar. This is a stripped down, gigging guitar for blue collar musicians. Smooth & fast neck. Hot but balanced pups. Will do blues, punk, to rock & metal. Exceptional fit & finish - no flaws. Buy!
