PRS CE24 Standard Satin Controls

Shape Your Sound With Versatile Tone Controls

The CE24 Standard Satin gives you plenty of tonal options to craft your signature sound. It features master volume and push/pull tone controls, as well as a 3-way toggle switch to engage the dual PRS 85/15 "S" humbuckers. The push/pull tone knob transforms the pickups to bright, articulate tones with a coil split. Punch it back for the full, rich voicing of the humbuckers. With this simple control layout, you can go from glassy cleans to singing leads with a flick of a switch or push of a knob.

PRS CE24 Standard Satin Pickups

Powerful Humbucker Pickups Deliver Clarity and Punch

The 85/15 "S" pickups provide exceptional clarity and balanced tone, with plenty of richness and harmonic content. The neck pickup has an earthy warmth that's great for jazz, blues and classic rock. Switch to the bridge position for defined low end and crisp treble, perfect for modern high-gain playing. With the push/pull coil splits engaged, you can carve out unique tones ranging from twangy and percussive to smooth and mellow. The versatile 85/15 "S" pickups handle any style with ease.

Best Guitar Under $500

I've owned my fair share of budget friendly guitars. Fender Mexican Strats, Fender Mexican Telecasters, Epiphone Casino, Epiphone Les Paul, Ibanez RG450. This guitar beats them all in most categories. Better neck. Better setup out of the box. Pickups are more versatile and capable than any of the competition. It can play everything from John Mayer to Underoath to U2 to Coheed and everything in between and replicate the tones pretty accurately. Build quality is phenomenal for the price. This guitar can trade blows with my American standard SG - really. It's a great guitar, and in my opinion the best guitar in its price range by a good amount.

Not a keeper

Loved the guitar at first. The neck is one of the best I've come across. Problem like most cheap guitars is it won't stay in tune. Got a setup, graphite saddles, SE locking tuners, Core nut....Guess what....still doesn't stay in tune. Going back to the store.

Powerful machine that does anything except dive bombs. The neck is not too large or small, has very easy high fret access, plays well when standing, and has versatile tones with the help of effects. But it's a thin and small guitar with a slippery finish so that it can fall off your lap! Get the gloss ones instead!

  • Well deserving of the recognition it has received

PRS is has a maligned rep of being guitars for cork-sniffing lawyers. This is not that guitar. This is a stripped down, gigging guitar for blue collar musicians. Smooth & fast neck. Hot but balanced pups. Will do blues, punk, to rock & metal. Exceptional fit & finish - no flaws. Buy!

  • Amazing guitar on a budget

This guitar feels every bit as much like a PRS. The quality and finish are impeccable. Playable right out of the box with good 9's strings. I lowered the bridge slightly but that is just my preference. Whammy bar works flawlessly and guitar stays in tune. Nice machine heads. Frets dressed and polished with no sharp edges. The coil tap is very nice and produces clear highs; almost Strat like. Guitar shipped quickly. I love it. Came with a nice gig bag. #sweepstakes
