I like the exterior and hardware . I plan on doing a painting on the top . Interior is a bit lowbrow . I had to adjust the neck brace to accommodate my Eastman F model .
Great quality case.

Really nice case. Fits my Kentucky "A" style mandolin very well. It's snug and well padded. I like the outer material. I think it could be painted or decoupaged but looks classy and kind of retro as it is.

This thing has a great "vintage" look and feel. Much nicer than the molded black plastic variety, and about half the cost. Mine has a little alignment issue at first, but it was easy to correct. Fits my Gretsch New Yorker mandolin, no problem.

will this case fit a loar f style
The Gator GW-JM Mandolin Journeyman Case is designed with an A-style body in mind, but some F-style mandolins will fit—barely—depending on headstock and scroll size. Many Loar F-style mandolins (like the LM-520, LM-600) technically fit the Gator case lengthwise and widthwise. But the carved scroll and extended headstock may press against the padding, making the fit tight or uneven. Scroll or tuners might press on the lid, leading to wear over time. Not molded for scroll cutaway, so movement could occur without added padding. Gator does not officially list the case as compatible with F-styles. For a Loar F-style, consider a case specifically molded for F-style mandolins, such as: Gator GC-MANDOLIN (F-style compatible) Superior CD-1520 or Guardian CG-046-MF Travelite TL-45 F-style case.submitted4 years ago

Does this case come in a left handed model? If not, do you carry any case for a left handed f-style mandolin? (Hard shell, not a gig bag or cloth covered styrofoam, thanks)
