Somewhat cheap, doesn't hold up to the stress of the road

The latches are good, everything fit inside perfectly, but after a month of normal use on the road the handle just snapped off. Had all 6 units inside, but none were unusually heavy. Also the outer casing seemed a bit too thin, probably would have bent without too much weight on it. I'd recommend this case strictly for home use.
Nice rack!

Good, lightweight rack. Full wrap-around aluminum bezels make it plenty sturdy.

It is better than I expected. It has locks, and really solid rails to mount on.
The best part is the Price, everything else is just ok.

I'm using a 6u unit right now to hold an Axe Fx II and a Furman Pro power conditioner. Stuff I really want protected. The outer shell sags on top. I was not able to mount either the Axe Fx or the Furman unit properly and could only get two screws in each unit. That's a few thousand dollars hanging on a few screws. Not good. It didn't matter either, if I moved the back plates to change the alignment of the holes. I would never trust this case on the road, so it's a good thing that this is only for around the house. The price is good, but in the end, you get what you pay for. Get a better case if you are giging. This is not professional quality.

If you are careful with the latches, these cases will hold up for awhile. I have 3 of these, they stack up pretty good, I put the rim "crease" toward the bottom so they dont cave in from the weight above. For the price, they do the job.
Gator 8 space rack

It is always a pleasure to do buisness with Jeff McDaniel Pro Audio Department, and Grant Drum Department of Guitar Center. Jeff really made my buying a pleasure of the Gator 8 space rack that now house my new Crown XTi 4000 and the Gator Case definitely holds up it end by keeping my investment safe. The Gator case fits seamlessly with my current Gator Cases that I have and the Gator Case in my opinion is one of the best in today's market. Thanks Gator and you too Jeff and Grant of Guitar Center at 635 and Welch.
