Heavy-Duty Nylon Shell Withstands Rigors of the Road

The Gator Nylon keyboard gig bag's 600 Denier nylon shell is built to handle the demands of frequent transport and use. Ripstop nylon reinforcement at key stress points prevents tearing while thick padding helps absorb impacts. Your keyboard rests securely inside, protected from scratches, dents and weather.

an effective and welcome bag

I had just purchased a Yamaha P85, and needed to purchase a suitable bag. The music store didn't have one in stock, so I went on line. I found this bag after a bit of a search (the P85 is a relatively new product at this time, whose dimensions are tricky). The bag is slightly long for the keyboard, but it is nicely padded and attractively styled, with effective interior Velcro straps and sensibly-placed outer pockets. I'm happy to recommend this bag. I have used it to transport the P85 to three gigs in as many weeks, and have been pleased with it.

No shoulder strap, so essentially useless for gigs

I perform multiple gigs a month throughout New York, including the outer boroughs. As a 5'3" woman with average strength, I desperately need a shoulder strap. Unfortunately, I bought this assuming it had one, but it doesn't. I tried it out for not even one day and I already had to take a taxi. I'll have to exchange it for one with a strap. This really shouldn't be so expensive without a strap, very odd. I also found the handles were too rough and large for my hands. Seems like it was designed for strong men. That sucks.

This keyboard bag is does not have any rigidness about it. It is light duty so care when moving your keyboard must be taken.

This bag feels pretty sturdy and has a big pouch to keep cables, music books, etc. in. it does not have a shoulder strap, so that is something to keep in mind, but the handles are really well made. I think it will hold up fine to normal use. I don't really take my keyboard gigging, but I move it around and I believe this will do the job well.

  • Huge and bulky but it works

I was in a rush to get a bag for a gig. My own fault for not seeking/ordering one purpose-made for the keyboard, if it exists, but the gig was on short notice and I didn't have much time. That said, it worked, it's padded, it's got handles, no complaints except I wish it were a more snug fit for the keyboard. Again, that's on me.

  • The bag is kinda on the large size

The Gator bag is well made, but it's too big in my opinion. The length seems to be on for most Keyboards, but the depth of the bag is measuring 18" or so inches. Seems overkill to me. -

I’m very sorry. Your question is not clear. This is for a 76 key keyboard.

Will my Roland Juno DS88 fit in the Slim 88-key gig bag? The interior dimensions given for the case are about an inch smaller than the keyboard but I'm guessing there might be some extra room so it would fit. I would prefer the keyboard not be sliding around in the case and the width and height of the 88-key is much better for the DS88.

It hasn't been tested. It 'may' stretch enough.

Will the gator bag gkb-61 work for the Yamaha PSR S950
Most concern surrounds the interior height on the case vs the height of the keyboard
Does the ft Myers store (a 60+ mile trip) have either the gkb61 or gkb76 in their store?
