The Ernie Ball Prodigy Picks Standard 2.0 mm 6 Pack, built from durable Delrin thermoplastic, these premium picks provide an unparalleled level of control and articulation. The sharp point and beveled edge glide effortlessly across strings for fluid playability at any speed. Ernie Ball engineered the non-slip grip to remain firmly in place through extended practice sessions and live performances.

Precision Tip for Crisp Articulation

The pointed tip of each Prodigy pick allows for precise note attacks and rapid-fire riffing. Musicians can achieve staccato effects and lightning-fast runs with ease. The rigid Delrin material transmits a clean tone with abundant clarity and definition.

Beveled Edge Reduces Drag

Prodigy picks incorporate a beveled edge to minimize string drag. The streamlined shape enables effortless movement across the fretboard for increased speed and efficiency. Players experience less resistance when shredding through scales or navigating complex chord progressions.

Non-Slip Grip Stays Securely in Place

Ernie Ball engineered an innovative non-slip grip to keep Prodigy picks firmly anchored while performing. The textured surface prevents slipping even after hours of continuous use. Musicians can concentrate on their technique instead of adjusting the pick position. The snug yet comfortable fit reduces fatigue over long practice sessions and live shows.

Premium Thermoplastic Construction

Prodigy picks contain durable Delrin thermoplastic material to withstand frequent use without breaking or warping. The rigid construction produces a consistent tone and feel after extended playing. Ernie Ball stands behind the quality and longevity of these premium picks, which are designed to last through years of dedicated practice and performance.

Only picks I use anymore

I picked up these prodigy picks because whether I'm playing bass or guitar I generally like thicker picks. My previous favorite were Dunlop .88's but these blow them out of the water. They don't feel too clunky with the beveled edge and the material they're made of helps you keep a good grip even when your hands get sweaty. Guitar or bass, these are great picks.

Not For Me

These are not bad picks, but I think they cater to a pretty small niche of players who might actually appreciate them fully. Personally, I wanted to try them out because I'm finding that a sharper pick point increases my playing accuracy, but my god these things are just too sharp, too thick and too stiff. They trip me up a lot during single-note playing, they sound too bright for strumming, and not bright enough for chugging in my humble opinion.

The beveled edges are essential for me, since they roll off the strings faster and the pick doesn't slip in my hand. excellent size, not too big not too small.

Love these picks they're very rigid and love the tone it gives with my strings. They're small enough to not have too much pick coming out under my fingers but also big enough to not lose. Definitely love Ernie ball picks and they're not as floppy as others. Great pick in my opinion and would definitely recommend

  • Love the feel and attack on these!

You need these if you want to start soloing. You don't have to be one to use one. Get it, and start soloing, alternate picking, and shredding!
