The Preachin' Pipe is an authentic reproduction of maverick bluesman Eric Sardinas' own handmade slide. Sculpted by thousands of live shows, it has a fast, tapered shape from years of blazing across the strings of a sweat-soaked resonator guitar. The pure brass is worn to perfect thinness where you connect with the strings, giving it a distinctive resonance and sensitivity. Of course, you might also want to let its flared, weighted end do the talking. Either way, now you can experience the custom, fluid feel of the Pipe--and its intensely feverish tone--without spending a lifetime on roadhouse stages. Get your own Preachin' Pipe. It wasn't just made for the blues--it was made by the blues.

I play an acoustic and I had never used a slide before ordering this one, so take this review with a grain of salt because I don't have much to compare it to. I always thought that using a slide on an acoustic sounded cool, so I wanted to try it, and this one sounds great! My fingers are shorter and stubbier, so I got the large one and it fits pretty snugly on my ring finger with the wide end facing my palm, and it fits snugly on my pinky if I flip it over. Cool sound, takes some getting used to. I'd recommend it.

I really like this on my strat because of the neck profile. Not so much with my Les Paul.A little on the heavy side so raise your action to keep from bottoming out.
