collapse expand iconDescription

Dunlop's Dual-Design Straplok System represents the pinnacle of strap attachment technology. This premium strap security solution provides unrivaled stability and versatility for musicians demanding the utmost reliability from their gear. The Straplok system features a patented dual-flange design and socket ready for use with Dunlop's Straplok Retainer System, offering rock-solid security far beyond the capabilities of standard strap buttons. For players seeking to eliminate the risk of strap failure during performance, the Straplok Dual-Design Strap Button Set is a must-have upgrade.

Dual-Flange Design Delivers Unmatched Stability

At the heart of the Straplok system are high-performance strap buttons featuring an extra wide dual-flange design. This innovative configuration distributes weight and force over a far greater area than conventional buttons, ensuring your strap remains securely attached no matter how aggressively you play. The wider stance also prevents twisting and binding, allowing your strap to rotate freely for maximum comfort and mobility.

Straplok-Ready Sockets Enable Quick Strap Changes

In addition to superior stability, the Straplok Dual-Design Strap Button Set provides incredible versatility and convenience. The strap buttons include built-in sockets that instantly connect with Dunlop's Straplok Retainer System, allowing you to quickly and easily change or remove straps. Now you can swap straps between multiple guitars in seconds without needing to unthread or re-thread your strap. For players with extensive strap and instrument collections, the Straplok system is a revolutionary solution.

Premium Components Built to Last

Like all Dunlop products, the Straplok Dual-Design Strap Button Set is constructed from premium materials and built to handle years of frequent use. The strap buttons feature durable case-hardened steel construction, while the included mounting screws are specially engineered to securely fasten the buttons to your guitar without causing damage. For players who demand the highest quality gear to support their craft, the Straplok system delivers professional-grade components worthy of even the most valuable instruments.

Almost Perfect

These straplocks work great and are the only ones I buy. However if your the kind of person who likes to move around A LOT, like me [ex. jumping, swinging guitar around yourself] . . . you'll run into some problems. I put these straplocks on every guitar I have, and after enough jumping/swinging/w.e. the bottom screw strips itself out, and or bends. I fixed this problem by using glue and jamming little pieces of wood in the hole, so far this has worked, but who knows for how long. My friend plays bass and had the same problem and the glue/wood thing failed. he eventually was forced to drill new holes. So if you like me, be careful, and if you just need the locks simply prevent little accidents get these straplocks.

They work.

After using Schaller straplocks on one guitar, I decided to give these a try. While they have yet to let me down, I personally feel these are less secure. The design places the center of weight further away from the body of the guitar, which means that there's a higher possibility of the screw snapping out of the body of the guitar. I also noticed that it is much more of a hassle to take the part that stays on the strap off of the strap (i.e.- to change straps) than with the Schallers. Not a bad product, but not the best out there.

I have 17 pairs of these in different variations, one on each guitar and bass in my studio, and they all work GREAT. Makes it incredibly easy to switch out straps for different instruments on the fly. Definitely my favorite strap lock set. Haven't had one fail me yet. #sweepstakes

I have 3 sets of these, and love that I can use one strap across all my guitars this way. Easy to install, and work great.

I had these installed at guitar center. They were loosely, they clanked just enough to be heard in the recording studio. And they felt like it was not a solid connection.

  • Great way to protect your guitar with strap locks

Fairly simple directions to install a strap lock system. This wasn't my first time using Dunlop strap locks, but it was my first time drilling the holes for them. I'd say it was a little intimidating at first, but I followed directions as well as taped off the drill bit and guitar.

Is the "black chrome" really just chrome or does it have a black tint to it? The stock image looks like regular chrome.
