    I bought this case after seeing some guitar ones around. I liked the lightweight package with backpack straps, so I thought I'd check one out for a mandolin. It's worth the buy! It's not as rugged as a wooden hardshell case, but it's very sturdy, much more than a standard gigbag. For the average joe musician, this is all the case you need. I wouldn't trust it to go through airplane luggage, but anything shy of that, it seems to b up to the task. Lots of storage as well. I'm glad I bought it, and I'm considering getting this line of cases for all of my other instruments as well!
