Description
The Zildjian DIP Drum Sticks 5B Wood are ready to unleash your inner percussion powerhouse. Constructed from select maple, these drumsticks provide a lightweight yet responsive alternative to traditional hickory. The maple wood enhances rich, dark cymbal articulation and a soft playing feel, ideal for drummers who prefer a lighter touch or lower volume applications.
DIP® Coating Adds Control and Comfort
Zildjian's innovative DIP® coating is applied to the grip area of the drumsticks, providing a comfortable, slightly tacky surface for maximum control and shock absorption. The result is faster, more confident playing with all-night comfort. Forget about losing your grip or fatiguing your hands—the DIP® coating keeps these drumsticks firmly in your control.
Oval Tips Deliver Articulate Cymbal Response
The medium oval tips on the Zildjian Maple DIP Drum Sticks 5B Wood provide focused cymbal articulation for any music style. Crisp, cutting cymbal sounds are within easy reach, allowing drummers to explore a range of musical dynamics and expressions.
Familiar Specs with a Maple Twist
With a 5B diameter, 16" length and medium taper, these maple drumsticks will feel instantly familiar in your hands. They provide the reach and balance of a traditional 5B stick but with the lightweight maple wood construction. Love these
Female drummer here.My hands get tired sometimes and then have a tendency to drop sticks. I've been using these for about six months and they have been great. It took a little bit to adjust to how grippy they are, but ultimately my playing became softer, my hands less tired and I almost never drop a stick. I am a fan of the lightness maple as well. Going to use my reward points to buy a back up pair. No issues with breaking. Use them on roland td17kvx so perhaps that's why.

Great feel but a bit pricey

These are my favorite light weight sticks for low volume situations. I gig regularly and do some small venue low volume stuff, which is where these excel. Great feel and the correct diameter but without the hard hitting weight. They are softer wood so they wear fast if you are playing aggressively. Not for rock! I've tried other 5a Maple sticks but always end up back on these.
Great Sticks!

The Dip is great for a beginner drummer, my wife, who is learning. She likes the added stability and tactile feel of the dip. she also loves the bright green color. She loves them so much, she bought another pair in a different weight to try out. ( #sweepstakes )
Would buy again

These dipped coating sticks are the best. I prefer 5A's. Well made and durable. I get the green or the black dipped ones for variety.

I'm normally a Vic Firth drummer, but I thought I'd give these a try. They're now my favorite sticks. Love the dip for the extra grip confidence. Will buy more.
I would buy these sticks again.
