years from the date of original purchase. For warranty claims outside the U.S., contact your local Zildjian
distributor.
Warranty Process
Cymbals that show factory defects within two years of their original purchase are eligible for
examination at our factory. Zildjian experts will evaluate the damage and issue a replacement cymbal
unless it appears the damage is related to improper use or care.
If you believe your cymbal has a factory defect:
1. Contact Zildjian to obtain a Return Authorization number (RA#) via telephone: 781-871-2200.
2. Indicate the location of the damage on the cymbal with a piece of tape.
3. Make a photocopy of your original numbered and dated sales receipt.
4. Carefully package your cymbal. Include your RA# and the photocopy of your sales receipt in the box.
5. Ship the package to:
Avedis Zildjian Company
RA#
22 Longwater Drive
Norwell, MA 02061
A cymbal will not be replaced if:
1. It has been misplayed, dropped, played with excessive force or treated abusively.
2. The center hole is worn due to improper stand set-up or abusive play.
3. The cymbal was bought secondhand or used in a lease program.
4. The cymbal has previously been replaced by Zildjian.
5. More than two years have passed since the cymbal was purchased.
Warranty Notes:
• Cost of shipping a damaged cymbal to Zildjian is the customers responsibility.
• Factory evaluations take approximately 4–6 weeks.
• Cymbals that do not meet the warranty guidelines will be returned to the customer.
• Cost of shipping a replacement or damaged cymbal back to the customer will be covered by Zildjian.

I use strictly discontinued/pre-redesigned A series cymbals (which honestly sound better than the redesigned!) and I've gotta say — this cymbal legitimately has it ALL. I use primarily rides as crashes, and this cymbal will always be where it's at. The medium thin weight adds to the cymbal too, because it's the brightness of a heavier crash, but the buttery and satisfying bow-hit of a thinner crash. The bell is killer too!
The Perfect All Around Cymbal for Use In Latin Music

I purchased this cymbal for use with Timbales in the AfroCuban Genre and do not regret it. It exhibits a very clean, sensitive, refreshing aura that is not too bright or trashy with the right amount of stick definition for riding, balanced wash and reasonable crash decay that Timbale players seek for in this genre of music. The right cymbal for a big latin band and yet it's lighter characteristics make it compatible for smaller ensembles too.
My Favorite Crash

I've used quite an assortment of crashes from the Big Three in 22 years behind a kit. This was and is my favorite crash that I have ever been lucky enough to play and record. While not my first choice in a large live setting, in the studio or small venue, this is my go to crash. Tons of punch, quick decay, pings well enough for light ride duty, and best tonal qualities I've heard in an 18 inch crash. Sadly, after a decade of use and abuse, I cracked my original. I did not hesitate to purchase another.
The Perfect Crash Ride Cymbal

My whole playing career ive used just the standard ride cymbal that never contained much of a crash onto it. After trading in my Z3 24in Monster ride, I decided to pick up one of these bad boys in 22in. Granted, the sound is totally different but what I have now is another crash and a ride. It avoids me having to buy another stand for another crash. The crash is great and the ride is just as good. Its a great cymbal for the price.
