The P-525 digital piano from Yamaha is the flagship in the P-series, representing the brand's acoustic grand craftsmanship mixed with modern technology to enhance your play. The Smart Pianist app for iOS and Android open up a world of intuitive touch screen control while Rec 'n' Share allow you to record your practice and performance and easily share it with all your social platforms.

With the Smart Pianist app, you can take your piano playing to the next level. This app allows you to control all the P-525's functions and access additional features that go beyond what the instrument can do alone. Bluetooth audio allows you to seamlessly connect your device to your digital piano so you can listen to and enjoy playing along with your favorite songs. USB to HOST (MIDI & Audio) streamlines your music-making process with a single cable.

Included with this package are a Musician's Gear bench and stand to complete your setup. The X-shaped stand features six height-adjustment settings to customize your playing placement for optimal performance on stage or in the studio, while the heavy-duty steel and non-slip rubber end caps ensure durability and reliability. The padded bench has three height-adjustment settings with a faux leather covering for comfort with a touch of class.

    The Yamaha P-515 and P-525 are both premium digital pianos in Yamaha’s P-series (portable series), but the P-525 is the newer model with several significant upgrades over the P-515. Key Action P-515: Uses the NWX (Natural Wood X) action with synthetic ebony & ivory keytops. P-525: Upgraded to GrandTouch-S action, which is more advanced, with a wider dynamic range and better key return. Still uses natural wood for white keys and synthetic ebony/ivory. The GrandTouch-S is closer to the feel of an actual Yamaha grand piano. Piano Sound Engine P-515: Features samples from the Yamaha CFX and Bösendorfer Imperial grand pianos. P-525: Same pianos, but with improved samples and Virtual Resonance Modeling (VRM) enhanced, providing more realism in damper, string, and body resonance. More natural and expressive piano sound in the P-525. Voices and Sounds: P-515: 40 voices + 18 drum/SFX kits. P-525: Expanded to 542 voices, including Yamaha DX7 electric piano sounds and Organ Flutes V2. More versatility in sounds and realism in non-piano tones on the P-525. Connectivity: P-515: USB Audio/MIDI, Bluetooth audio only. P-525: USB Audio/MIDI, Bluetooth Audio and MIDI, allowing wireless use with apps like Smart Pianist. More modern wireless control and connectivity on the P-525. Interface and Controls: P-515: Small color LCD screen. P-525: Larger 2.4" color display with a better UI and improved navigation. Built-In Speakers: Both have a 2-way speaker system, but: P-515: 15W + 5W x 2 P-525: Slightly enhanced for improved clarity (but the wattage is similar)
