I used to have great faith and confidence in Yamaha products. Not anymore. This thing lasted about 5 minutes in my house. The string action was nearly 1/4" at the 3rd fret and 3/8" at the 12th. You can't sort that without chopping the bridge in half. Just horrible quality.

I need to replace the D string on the NTX1 Acoustic guitar. What is the best brand? I can't seem to find an exact replacement.
It ships with the Yamaha X10. They don't indicate string gauge. It would be best to change the entire set. Please see-----------D'Addario EJ45 Pro-Arte Normal Tension Classical Guitar Strings.submitted2 years ago
