I Like These 'Phones!

Definitely a plus for my home studio. I can work for a long time without ear-fatigue because I can keep the volume lower and still get all the tones and clarity I want. I haven't tried any of those $180 to $450 type headphones so they might do something even better(massage my ears?)but these 'phones are in my price range and I like them.

Useable, Not Ideal for Mixing

I use these primarily for audio editing instead of my somewhat bass boosted gaming headphones, although editing on headphones is not ideal. I will also occasionally use them as monitor headphones while I'm recording, but I hate do so. They are almost always plugged into my audio interface. The headphones are extremely light, which is nice, and fully cover my fairly small ears. They are compatible both with 1/4" and 1.5mm headphone jacks. They seem flatter than my gaming headphones, but that's about all I like. They are made almost entirely out of plastic, and I can hear the components shifting every time even a muscle twitches on my head. It's maddening. They sound every so slightly tinny, and sometimes I even hear them producing a metallic sound. Because of the nature of the sound and the maddening shifting noises, they aren't even enjoyable to use for recreation.

Lack of treble response is a major drawback for these phones. They are extremely bass-heavy. Wouldn't pay more than $30 for them. On the plus side they are pretty rugged.

I use this for home recording. Sound is quite accurate - maybe a little on the bassy side of flat. Perfect for monitoring while recording, adequate for mixing. Light and comfortable.

  • Good range, great response. Can't beat the price.

Fits and feels very comfortable. Sounds great. Seals outside noise. For my use the cord is too long but long enough for its purpose designed. Enjoy using day and night listening to music and shows
