The only slide to use. PERIOD!

I have used many types of slides over decades of playing lap steel guitar. Some slides work better than others for different styles of playing. I have found that nothing compares to the Shubb GS. Intonation is better. Accuracy improves. The balance is perfect. The wooden grip allows for various gripping styles that helps keep fatigue to a minimum. Good product but expensive

Paid way to much found exact one on Amazon for a third of the cost I should have shopped around first

    It is a bit taller than my all steel slide. More "grip" area all around. Deeper and wider grooves for my fingers. So much easier to hold. I've never dropped it. Very comfortable and easier to control. Also, very light. your hammer-on's have to be deliberate, decisive. (i am new to lap steel but not new to guitars)

    Well I'm 70 I needed something to fit my hand better, it was lighter and give me a place to rest my thumb. I like the wood and metal together, it even sounds a little better using my dobro.anybody with an arthritic condition should really appreciate the little thing plus the weight is just perfect.

    This slide provides a good grip and a sweet, smooth tone. Makes for easy slants, bar hops vibrato-any technique employed seems to work easily with this slide. May not be for everyone, but it works for me.
