Our highest output noiseless, individually tuned single coil. Its great in the bridge of a Strat for rich and powerful midrange harmonics.

Description
The Hot Stack Plus is recommended for country, pop, blues, classic rock, and heavy rock. Use a Hot Stack Plus in the bridge position with the Classic version in the neck and middle for a versatile, hum-free setup.
Three-conductor cable allows splitting for true single-coil mode. When all three Stack Plus pickups are split, the middle pickup is reverse-wound/reverse-polarity, allowing hum-cancelation when used with the neck or bridge pickup. The Seymour Duncan pickup is designed for all well-balanced instruments and works equally well with maple and rosewood fingerboards.

Great pickup choice. Makes a strat sound full and large but still very much in strat territory. I put this in my classic player 50's strat as the American vintage pickups weren't doing the job. Once again, Duncan delivers.

I bought this pickup used from Guitar Center. It was a great choice for my strat, which I use in a cover band to play every style of music, including metal. This pickup comes very close to sounding like a humbucker, but still has some of that single coil response. It cleans up very nicely. Even better - if wire it to cut the second coil, you get a slightly brighter, more strat-like sound, but this is a not a pickup for vintage strat purists. It is very beefy even in true single coil mode. If you want to play surf, country, classic rock, alternative, metal all with the same strat then this is the pickup for you.
