Seymours early 70s London PAF rewind recipe that graced the guitars of some of the most important British artists of the time.

Description
The recipe for these pickups starts with a rough cast Alnico 5 magnet, plain enamel wire, and Seymour's unique wind pattern. The bridge is a hotter-than-vintage 8.78k DC resistance and the neck is similarly beefy at 8.2k. Tonally, the rough cast magnets add warmth and balanced note-to-note clarity so everything sounds bigger. What is sonically unique about the Whole Lotta Humbucker pickups is the way that they push your amp and add a very slight natural compression and sustain to your playing.
Complete Setup
Use the Whole Lotta Humbucker set for the "original" sound or try the bridge with an Alnico 2 magnet neck pickup, like the Pearly Gates (sold seperately), for a distinct in-between position tone. Utilize the 4-conductor cable on each pickup with push/pull pots or mini-switches for complete flexibility.
Choose from nickel or black bridge or neck position pickups (in the pull down menu bar).

I play Stoner Doom and these sound amazing with fuzz and heavy distortion. They are really balanced and their clean sound is crisp. I highly recommend them if you like vintage sound

I got a set of these and they are really nice. I've tried lots of pickups and these are among my favorite. They really do give you that "Pagey" tone! Very clear and smooth without ever sounding harsh. Excellent, excellent pickups! Great job SD!

thinking about buying these seymore duncans and putting them in an ibanez 521s guitar. what will they sound like. I don't play heavy metal but I do play rock 70's.
The SH-18 will be great. 70's rock is where metal comes from.
