I've never replaced stock pickups before and I was a bit skeptical about whether it could make that much difference, and especially one that could supposedly capture the VH sound. I was blown away at how this pickup changed the sound of my Ibanez for under $100. Sounds fantastic! Definitely lives up to the hype.

I believe the Seymour Duncan Custom Custom improved the tone of my Wolfgang. Incredible tone. Close to my Prs Custom.

  • Love in in the neck position on my American Standard Strat.

I tried a few humbuckers on my strat including Dimarzio Air Clasic and Air Zone. I just got a beat up one for cheap and put it in just for the fun of it.......WOW!!! I found my sound. I use a Marshall JCM900, the dirty sound is very tight and focus and not as fuzzy compare to my 1976 Les Paul Standard. The clean sound is still a Strat, just fatter and tight. I do coil tapping on both half and it sounded good. It is amazing, it is not like the others that make the Strat sound neither a Gibson or Fender. There is no mistake on this one, it sounds Fender but just with a lot more beef and round. You have to try it. I use the Dimarzio Tone Zone in the bridge and Heavy Blues in the middle. It sure sounds better than my Les Paul.

  • All I can say is WOW!!!

I built a "certain famous striped" replica guitar and put this baby in it (no logo of course) and WOW!!. Full volume has a warm tone to it, not as heavy as my jb in my charvel. Roll the volume back and plays nice bright cleans. If your into VH or classic rock, this pick up is for you. It is a surprise when you add some heavy distortion and this pup screams. In my opinion, It is a great all around pup with Seymour Duncan quality you'd expect......
