if are really looking to became a DJ don't get these. There is not much that can go wrong with them, but tey are too basic and u will want to upgrade really quick. so save your money or get the credit card and buy Technics SL-1210MK5 Pro Turntable in order to get step closer to pro.

I recommend the Battle Pak to anyone that wants to learn how to mix records. This product is a good alternative to see if you're really committed to becoming a disc jockey instead of spending thousands of dollars on a professional DJ system. If you do decide that DJing is right for you and your skills improve and progress over time, you will seem somewhat limited to what the Battle Pak has to offer and you're going to want to upgrade to a better system. For the DJ that wants to continue on and mix records I would suggest upgrading the mixer and headphones first. The turntables are fine for mixing and you don't have to upgrade that for now. For those that would like to scratch and become part of turntablism, I would avoid this set-up altogether. The motors on the turntables are weak and the mixer is not suitable to do any kind of scratching.

I put one of these DJ packages in my basement a few days ago. I've had a couple friends over, and they've been spittin (Freestyle rapping) in my basement along with the beats that this beautiful DJ package plays. I've been DJing for a few months now, and I needed a second set of turntables to mess around with. I didn't want to spend too much money, so i bought this set of Numarks for under 400 dollars. I don't regret any penny i spent on this. The sound is wonderful, and i think that its very nice. It feels a little cheap though, and the features aren't all there. The stylus isn't the best, but i still think its great for the price...highly recommended to anyone who wants to learn to DJ or just wants to have fun.

In a pack like this, you more-or-less get what you pay for. It's a great set to start on, I have had mine since late-April/early-May and I have not once regretted buying them. You have every feature you need to start out: 2 Direct Drive turntables, a mixing board, and headphones. As you start to get better, the features will become standard and you'll begin to want more, but the tables are good enough to keep around for a while and all you REALLY need to upgrade is the mixing board. If you are just starting and want to know if you have the knack for mixing/scratching, this is a perfect set!

This package is great if you are barely learning how to dj and only wanted to stay within your house. These are not made for leaving your bedroom, or if wanting to be a mobile dj. when I had this system I felt like I couldnt depend on them. If you are going to buy this system I advise you to just buy some technics, or if you already made your decision on getting this package then I advise you to buy some better needles/cartridges.
