Awesome head

Well, I busted my snare drum head a couple weeks ago, so I went to my local Guitar Center to buy a new one. I went into the drum room and asked the clerk what he recommended and he told me this was a great head, so I took his advice and bought it. I put it on my drum, hit it, and I was amazed. It sounded so much better than my old one, especially with the sound dot in the middle. It was much easier to roll on it too. Bottom line is, if you want a great snare drum batter head, and you like saving money at the same time, this is a great choice.

This head works extremely well on all snare drums. Its wide frequency range is well controlled by the black dot underneath, without restricting too much.

  • Great sound and feel!

This head was the right amount of durability and sound I needed. I like thicker heads, but this one was perfect!

This is my go-to head for my snare drums. It focuses the tone without dampening too much. Great for wood and metal drums.

  • I would buy this product again

Hi. My son is 10 and would like to replace his snare heads. He is wondering if he orders the Remo Controlled Sound Reverse Dot Coated snare head if it comes with both the batter side and the reso side as well?
Thank you!
