I'm a little older and not a basher anymore, so I was looking for a stick that was a bit lighter. This definitely does the job. The stick feels great and balance and my wrists are thanking me.

I've used the same stick only in hickory with great satisfaction. This one however is the maple version and for me it had a different feel that made it feel off for me. Nothing bad with the quality of the stick itself, it's just personal preference.

Usually use hickory (Promark 7A), but like any drummer, have a varied assortment of sticks by size, tip, wood, etc. Wanted something lighter in weight, but durable like hickory. I'm not a basher-smasher-crasher. I like to hear every note distinctly. These feel good, respond well, & give me the result I want. Bought several pairs for several bags for different kits.
A Return to Greatness

I've been playing drums for over 50 years. I last bought a pair of ProMark drums sticks when I left high school...IN 1984!!! I always found ProMark sticks to be too heavy and slippery. So when I saw the ads for the Finesse sticks, I decided to take a chance. The Maple 5A Long is everything I need in a stick. It's light, balanced and allows me to get to every part of my kit without stretching. They have restored my faith in ProMark...

Looking for a lighter weight 7A. Have plenty of hickory & a variety of lengths & heads. Really liked the Promark Maple Jazz series, These Finesse Maple Round Tips fit the bill. The lighter weight makes you more conscientious of your power strokes. Not for bashers.
