Pearl Flutes
Description
The Pearl-105 piccolo employs composite Grenaditte. As this material is impervious to temperature and humidity, there is no danger of cracking and intonation is much more stable. It has a highwave style headjoint, French pointed arm keys, and pinless construction.

I play in musical theatre productions and community bands. This piccolo speaks clearly and easily and has an ease of transition between the high and low ranges.I am very happy with this purchase!!

I'll find out how well it goes because I'm giving it to my step daughter. She's an experienced Flutist.

  • Great intermediate instrument at a competitive price.

My daughter loves her new piccolo. She already was an advanced flute player but wanted to add to her repertoire. Thought the piccolo was fairly easy to adjust to even though the instrument requires much more air to produce a quality sound and uses a different embouchure; only took a few days. Her flute teacher (who is a former professional player and band director as well) though the instrument was good quality, held its tune well and had a nice tone (not too shrill or tinny sounding). Haven't used it for any outdoor playing yet, but should be great as it is made from the grenaditte which will not react as much to the high humidity and heat of Texas.
