PRS CE 24 Electric Guitar Gray Black

Description
The PRS CE 24 is a high-performance electric guitar designed to inspire. It pairs a mahogany back and maple top with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard for balanced, articulate tone. The CE 24 features PRS 85/15 pickups which deliver a remarkable tonal range from humbucker thickness to single-coil clarity. A push-pull tone control provides six classic sounds. The bolt-on Pattern Thin neck offers a natural feel ideal for shredding leads or lush chords.
85/15 Pickups Unlock Six Classic Tones
The CE 24's 85/15 pickups are designed to capture the full tonal spectrum. They deliver thick humbucker tone as well as shimmering single-coil clarity. A push-pull tone control lets you tap into three humbucker and three single-coil sounds for versatility to suit any musical need.
Pattern Thin Neck Offers a Natural Feel
The CE 24 features a bolt-on Pattern Thin maple neck for an ultra-responsive playing feel. Its slim, satin-finished profile allows effortless movement across the fretboard for leads or chords. The neck's construction also enhances the guitar's inherent tone and resonance.
Tonewood Body Produces Balanced Sustain
The CE 24's mahogany body is topped with figured maple for a stunning look and balanced tone. The mahogany provides warmth and depth while the maple adds articulation and clarity. Together they yield musical sustain suited for any genre.
Appointments and Hardware for Stage-Ready Performance
The CE 24 includes PRS's signature bird inlays and vibrato bridge. Locking tuners provide rock-solid intonation for live playing or recording. All hardware is nickel for tarnish-resistant good looks. A high-gloss nitro finish protects the tonewoods and feels smooth to the touch.

PRS CE-24 great for Live Performances
submitteda year ago

I bought this guitar from GC one year ago. The workmanship is excellent and it does not hum or buzz. This guitar has its own thing going on and is basically a cross between a Fender and Gibson. It does not stay in tune as well as my Fenders under heavy tremolo use, but that is something I have learned to live with. It likes my Fender Tweed Deluxe or my PRS MT-15 into a 1960AX 412. For people who don't like the pickups, try a different amp before you change anything on this guitar. This guitar can take the place of several others for live performances and it is beautiful to boot. Not cheap, but highly recommended new or used. The louder you play it the better it sounds.
I love it

Probably the best feeling guitar I've played yet. I absolutely love this guitar. I can't put it down and when I'm not playing it I think about playing it. That says it all.

I have been playing this for a few weeks and is amazing. Great playability and tone. One of the best features is that it stays in tune, even after using the whammy bar alot. I highly recommend it!

I own a SE model I bought about 15 years ago and have always been intrigued by the American models. With the 36 month credit I had the opportunity to order one. I held my breath when ordering a CE24 since I had a bad experience with another brand sent from another store. The only negative outlook was there were very few colors and stock to choose from. The wait time was 6 months. It came and turned out to be perfect. Except no vibrato arm. The playing ability, craftsmanship, sound quality is unmatched by very few instuments. Well worth the money, if not just to stand back and admire the beauty of a pure quality guitar!!

I ordered one. The video says hard shell case. The shipping info says it's a gig bag. Which is it? If it's a gig bag that is a big time bait and switch.
This guitar should come with a hard shell case.submitted8 years ago
