    I'd like to start off by saying I'm by no means experienced in playing the violin. I inherited my instrument from my grandpa who recently passed, and it was in very poor shape - so I had to restore it. I am experienced with guitars, though, and that made the process much easier. I went online looking for videos about violin maintenance and gathered as much knowledge as I could. This tailpiece seemed to me like good enough an option because it is very inexpensive and comes with the fine tuners built right in. I can honestly say I am *very* satisfied with my purchase. Not only does it look great, but it also performs super duper well, and seems very durable. If you're in the market for a new tailpiece, look no further.
