Better than expected

I usually work with bigger controllers such as the Pioneer DDJ SX series, but I was curious about DJ2GO2 Touch after hearing another DJ say he uses it to prepare for his Sirius radio program. For a little machine you can get very creative with it. The crossfader feels great, the cue points are sharp,and the sound quality is pretty good. As a Serato DJ Pro user I was a little skeptical of DJ Lite program that comes with this machine, but it works pretty good and It feels professional even without the bells and whistles of DJ Pro(Reminds me of Scratch Live). In fact I was so impressed with this product that I immediately reordered another one as a back up. Great for a Mobile DJ like myself, who sometime has set up in cramped NY House Party basement with limited space. With controllers this size packing such a punch, the future looks bright for younger DJs coming in the biz, Gone are the days when you needed a high price piece of equipment to perform good .

    Started dj'ing in 1982 and in my opinion Numark is a solid company that always stands with dj. This controller fits in a backpack, trapper keeper, I use it with the Djay Pro software with my Ipad, yes it does work solid with Virtual DJ and Serato DJ. A must have for sure.

    This isn't the big, on the stage DJ setup. But it is definitely a fun little practice, learning, back up turntable/controller. I'm going to be using it for small gigs just blending music, I'm not a DJ professionally but I am a sound tech who gets hired to DJ occasionally and know the basics of mixing songs. This works for that. I wouldn't use it as a main instrument. But definitely fun and worth the money.

    This controller was a great addition to my lineup. Because it's so compact I was able to just throw it in my backpack with my laptop and hard drives and go. If your venue already has a PA system setup that's all you need.
