Numark

Description

The Numark DJ/iO audio interface for all DJ software is compact and rugged enough to live in your gig bag, but powerful enough to provide solutions for a wide range of computer audio needs. The DJ/iO gives software”based DJs, performers, and producers a range of options for outputting their final audio, whether in the form of a live mix or a just”completed new track. DJs and producers pass audio from their software”based application of choice through a traditional mixer (for multi”channel mixing) and output to a pair of stereo RCA connections, via a forward”thinking USB 2.0 connection. In addition, the DJ/iO features 1/4" microphone input and pass”through to Stereo RCA jacks for quick and easy voiceovers.

The DJ/iO features ultra”low latency audio (via ASIO drivers), with two independent RCA stereo outputs, a mic input with adjustable gain on stereo pair #1 and a 1/4" stereo headphone output on stereo pair #2. The DJ/iO is USB bus-powered and also operates with a 9V DC external power supply (sold separately) for those who have exceeded the power output of their existing USB bus.

Huge difference in audio quality over my on board Realtek HD. Didn't like the included software tho. Needs bloated and naggy itunes to work for some reason. Audacity works fine. Overall great product for the money.

I've used the i/o countless times on a Mac , and I've never had any problems . It works real smooth and it gets the job done for mobile djs . it does suck on PC's though because of the BSOD issue , but just get a mac or a hackintosh .

Works very well. Setup went smoothly. Very easy to use. Works well with Ableton and Traktor. The only problem that I found is that if you unplug it with ejecting it you will BSOD everytime. Other than that no problems.

  • Very Excellent Product!!!!

After reviewing numerous products I decided to go with the DJ/IO. I've been running the DJ/IO with Vista(not a big fan of Vista) with Virtual DJ software. After some tweaking of the program I have had no problems. This is a excellent product for moblie DJ's.

The Numark DJ i/o is terrible, doesnt work with my Mac unless i rolled back to 10.5, doesnt work on my PC after trying about 20 times to install the right drivers, just a terrible product. I'm going to return this and purchase the Hercules DJ Console Rmx Controller.
