Wonderful for Heavy Guitars

I use this strap for my heavy fender 5-string bass, which is one of the heaviest guitars you can buy, and combined with strap locks I feel perfectly comfortable and secure. The wide thick leather strap distributes bass across your whole should and is soft enough to play shirtless. while you could get away with something cheaper on a lighter rig, for long sessions or a heavier guitar there is nothing more comfortable.

it doesn't work well for a small person, as far as adjusting. Too much excess leather hanging down. looks goofy to me.

    I've tried many other types of straps and I enjoy the high quality all leather feel and comfort of the 3" wide Franklin bass straps. I plan on buying more. They are higher priced than most but you get what you pay for. Made in USA.
