Bought a Squire Jazzmaster and I'm finishing up modding it. Replaced the stock pickups, ( which were not bad) with the pure vintage Jazzmaster pickups. Cleaner tones and more response. Love them.

Fender Pure Vintage '65 Jazzmaster pickups are unquestionably one of their top 3 pickups, if not the. This is the sound that built Fender - the hallmark sound that made them famous. Pure Vintage 65's are still in demand by the world's most successful (& particular) artists, across every genre'. They're one of the few pickups you can identify by their sound - from across the room or across the stadium. Some boutique pickups are very nice, but nothing sounds like a set of FPV 65's - so why waste your money?(rhetorical question). When ppl come to me with their JM's asking for tone boost, I recommend these.

fromHono. Hi.
Will these work in the Vintage Squire JM, also are they noiseless?
1) Yes they will. 2) Fender doesn't say. I don't think they would be as they're built to 1965 specs.submitted3 years ago
