Just used the Numark CM-100 for its first gig. All of the controls are intuitive and more than satisfactory for my needs. The mixer fits everything in 4 rack spaces, which opens up more rack space on my workstation. The faders are smooth and the other controls are solid. I would like to see the talkover switch for the mic include an "off" position. That's the only quibble I have. This is a quality piece of gear that would be equally suitable for the beginner to the seasoned pro. I supply sound systems and provide DJ and MC services for charitable events in Coastal Georgia.

I needed a 4 channel mixer and this one has done the job just fine for me. Unless you're a hardcore who needs flange effects, etc, you really doesn't need much more than this and if you're a beginner, this is a good value for a piece of equipment you'll keep for a long while. I like it as it gives me the flexibility of having extra channels I can dedicate to my laptop, karaoke machine, etc. If you're an EQ freak don't depend on this EQ, get a dedicated one. This one is ok, but nothing spectacular.

I purchased this mixer after alot of looking around, checking features, reliability, and pricing. I have used it now for a while and absolutely love it. Simple, yet it has everything that you could possibly need. I highly reccomend this to anyone needing a good quality mixer, at a affordable price.
