Good bang for your buck

I grabbed this cable when I bought my first electric guitar. I wanted to make sure I got a quality cable but also didn't feel I wanted to spend a lot of money on a cable. This suited me just right. The cable is overall great. I would buy again. The weight and feel of it is excellent. The gauge is heavy so I feel there is no detriment to the sound (though as I mentioned I am a novice so I really have nothing to compare to). The braided covering is very aesthetically pleasing. I length is good and it doesn't tangle easily (or arguably not at all). My only problem with it is my connector comes loose. Not the connector from the cable, and not the connector from my guitar or amp. But how the outer sheath screws on over the whole thing, that keeps coming unscrewed slightly. Never extremely, but I seem to always be tightening it. Not a big deal overall, but that is why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. And honestly, it is only one side so it may just be a slightly imperfect connector. I'll probably just put a dab of superglue or locktite on it to hold it in place.

I wouldn't want another one

I bought this cable when I got a new guitar and it sounded good when going straight into the amp. Because I had no pedals at the time. I then bought my first pedal and wanted more. I never thought about getting a pedal board, but I never wanted to buy one so I made one out for wood and it is awesome, so back to the cable, I then used this cable for another year. So it has been a year since I bought this cable and it is already falling apart and I have to have it in a position where I can't keep it there because I wanna play. Good this is that I found Musicians Friend, (you should buy from there more often). I ordered a new amp and coil cable, and more things for free shipping and no tax. I would recommend Musicians friend if you want to ship something for free and guitar center if you want to buy in store. DON"T BUY THIS CABLE IT IS TRASH.
