    Good leather strap. I bought it to match my Martin, and it looks great on my sunburst top. I didn't notice the smell issue or heavy oiling that was noted in other reviews. No smell or oil stains on mine. My only wish was that the strap feature a more prominent display of the Martin name. There are thousands of guitar straps out there, and if one is buying a "C. F. Martin" strap, they are doing it for a reason. The embossed name on this strap is really meek. Martin makes outstanding guitars played on stage by famous artists. Can't understand why they would settle for mediocre straps.

    The strap wasn't what I was expecting. The Martin logo is basically an indention in the the leather. Would expect more from Martin. The biggest downside, the leather is soaked in some type oil or perservative, that smells like used motor oil. I have been leaving it out in open air trying to see if it will tone down a bit. Still hasn't after 2 weeks. Everyone knows that the shoulder strap is constantly right under your nose when you play. Stinks so bad I'm using one of my old straps.

    This Martin leather logo guitar strap sucks! It is so stiff that it is difficult to even get it to attach to the knob on the guitar. VERY uncomfortable
