MONO

collapse expand iconDescription

In creating the GS1 Betty Guitar Strap, Mono Cases has gone the extra mile to provide you with a guitar strap like no other. Its lightweight construction belies that it is made of indestructible materials and has smart features to provide the ultimate playing experience. With a classic, minimalist design sporting hi-tech materials, the GS1 brings the past into the future with a feel that must be worn to be believed.

The GS1's wide wale design distributes the weight of heavy instruments. A thin, memory-foam core reduces fatigue during long hours of play. A smooth, Neoprene underbelly (like the kind found in wetsuits) lets the shoulder breathe and slides nicely across your shirt or skin. This lets you forget about your instrument and concentrate on your music.

These straps are built for life on stage. Get creative with the hidden mini pocket, which stashes picks, a slide, or whatever, right where you need it for quick access during play. They also include Matte black steel hardware and military-grade webbing for those extreme wear performances.

GS1's will fit standard bass and guitar strap pins.

I would buy again, if I ever lost my strap

Features: The memory foam section cushions your shoulder for those long hrs at a live show. Not that I care but very helpful for those, who have back or shoulder pain. It says it's water resistant on their website that's another plus, but make sure its in Jet Black or the Steel Grey color if you choose to buy, those are the only ones that include the water resistant material. Quality: Overall the strap is amazing for people that want the great quality of a leather strap, if you're like me and you don't like leather but hate the cheap quality of straps made out of cotton/cloth than this is the one for you. Almost every cloth strap has cheap plastic on it, this one has steel and will last you longer, but be careful I saw a comment around here that says the steel hardware made a ding on their beloved guitar. So if you have an expensive guitar I recommend setting black tape around the metal parts of the strap.

I woulde NEVER buy this again - Junk!

The holes in the guitar straps are weak and soft and start to fall apart after little use. So I tried using guitar strap locks and they tore out as well. The worst. I want a full refund!

This guitar strap is well made but have found the length is two to three inches shorter than a previous one (Smith ). If purchasing another, I would surely go with the longer option,.

  • The worst lifespan - but comfortable

Comfortable, but lasted about a week. The guitar strop holes wear out fast and become a hazard by dropping your guitar. Its a piece of junk! I want a refund!!!

Overall, this is a great strap: well made, easy to adjust, super comfortable. That said, it has one flaw that (I believe) will work itself out over time. I find it very squeaky at the buckle where the belt part meets the padded part. It's making noise whenever I move. It's nothing that you'd hear over a band but it can be a bit annoying in a practice environment. It does seem to be working itself out as the strap breaks in but it bugs me enough to take a star away from what is otherwise a five-star product.

I have 3 of these and 3 sets of strap locks. The perfect combination. I will get one for every guitar I buy.
