I use mine when playing my Cajon. It was a great add! I put mine only in my Middle Finger and it sounds and works great! It's a High Pitch Jingle much better than what I expected.

The design is not very well put together. These are meant to put on your hands to give an added jingle sound when playing hand percussion, so you assume there to be some sort of padding. There is none, so every stroke on a conga, cajon etc. is just a big stab on the top of the fingers from this product. The wood mountain bracket for the zills is designed in a way the it is to be put over 3 fingers, however the way the elastic strap is attached makes this near impossible to actually fit. When you put it over 2 fingers, it shifts and the groove meant to go between your fingers ends up on your finger. Causing more pressure and pain. It's cheap, so I'm not sure what I expected. I purchased the Schlagwerk FJ20's to replace them, a much better product than these.

The Finger Jingles are outstanding; I use one with two LP Finger Shots for complex frame drum and other-drum rhythms. I have the steel; now I'm ordering an aluminum one just for a slightly different color. You don't really need anything but your knees to play these things!
