    This is a terrific drum! I'm using it with a 10" PDP timbale, and a 10" Sabian splash, and the sound is wonderful. I'm a beginner and have space constraints, so I needed a small setup, and this is perfect. All three components fit on a typical cymbal stand. May add a cowbell later. This is priced at a reasonable $89, and won't break the bank. I highly recommend this Meinl snare/timbale.
