Groove Tubes Gold Series GT-EL84-S Matched Power Tubes High (8-10 GT Rating) Duet

The Groove Tubes GT-EL84-S matched power tube duet and quartet exhibits many of the same characteristics as the EL34, but with a power output of roughly 5-8 watts. Very creamy and smooth, these EL84's are a perfect upgrade for the stock EL84 tubes that come in many modern amps. Great for recording and rehearsal, these power tubes deliver a soft and tactile touch, rich harmonic response and pleasingly musical top end. The GT-EL84-S tends to be a little more aggressive and edgy when pushed into overdrive. This version is a little brighter, but still has a smooth top end.
