Chambered Body With Spruce Center Block for Resonant Tone

The G5622 has a chambered maple body with spruce center block that provides the resonance and sustain that Gretsch guitars are revered for. The chambers reduce weight, making the G5622 comfortable for extended playing sessions. The laminated maple top, back and sides give the G5622 a bold, focused voice that projects with authority. The spruce center block adds rich, complex overtones to your tone.

Black Top Broad'Tron Pickups for Articulate, Balanced Sound

The G5622 is equipped with a pair of Black Top Broad'Tron humbucking pickups that provide excellent clarity and balance. The neck pickup has a smooth, round tone that's great for jazz and blues. The bridge pickup has increased output for searing rock leads. Together, they offer a diverse tonal palette. The pickups capture the G5622's acoustic resonance, giving your tone depth and dimension.

Versatile Controls Let You Shape Your Sound

The control layout of the G5622 provides extensive tonal shaping options. It features individual volume controls for each pickup, allowing you to blend their outputs. The master volume has a treble bleed circuit that retains clarity and articulation when turning down. The master tone control lets you dial in the perfect high-end presence. With this combination of knobs, you can go from glassy cleans to roaring overdrive.

Sleek Body Style Provides Easy Upper Fret Access

The G5622 has a sleek double-cutaway body shape that provides effortless access to the highest frets, making it easy to solo across the entire fingerboard. The contoured body is comfortable pressed against your ribcage. The tapered horn on the treble side shifts weight, enhancing playing balance. Whether you're ripping solos or comping chords, the G5622's shape makes playing a breeze.

Quality Hardware for Stability and Sustain

The G5622 is equipped with an Adjusto-Matic bridge and tailpiece for excellent string resonance, stability and sustain. The Graph Tech NuBone nut facilitates smooth, bind-free tuning across the fingerboard. Die-cast tuning machines keep your strings in tune, even during heavy use. The G5622 also comes with a pickguard that protects the maple top.
