So far the tuning heads are working fine. Before my Ibanez G10 would not stay in tune. Now there is no problem with it staying in tune.I would buy again.

These tuners are a bit different than most locking tuners and take some getting use to.

Pretty straight forward installation, especially if your guitar had gotoh tuners previously, definitely takes a minute or two to get used to and understand them but here's tons of videos on YouTube
Excellent Tuner Machines!

I realy like these Machines a lot! They are easy to use and make restinging a breeze. I put them on an Ibanez SA160FM but I would use them on any guitar regardless of it's value. They are that good. And of course Guitar Center did a great job as they always do!

I like these tuning machines a lot! They are so easy to use and they hold fantastic. I have a set of Sperzels on a Carvin Custom Shop, and Schallers on a Strat, and I put these Gotoh's on my Ibanez. I like the Gotoh's much better than any of my other locking tuners. I don't particulary like the thumb knob on the back of other tuners. The Gotoh's don't have these and I love it. I can tell no added weight to my guitar and they keep it in practically perfect tune. Really makes changing strings fast too. They were really easy to install. It took about 30 minutes. Highly recommended.

How do the strings lock? What is the tightening mechanism?
They typically feature a pin or retaining mechanism that clamps the strings in place, preventing them from slipping when you're playing. By “locking” the strings in place, locking tuners actually remove the need to wrap the strings around the tuner posts.submitteda year ago

Will these fit my new Ibanez RG421PFM? Is so will I need to drill any holes? Do you guys carrie any locking tuners that would just drop in without having to drill any new holes? Thank you so much. Jeff
there will be modifications that will have to happen for these to work. They are slightly bigger than the holes in the guitar.submitted5 years ago
