I was looking for a more comfortable strap for my GibsonES 137 when the sales person (a guitar player) at the checkout ask me if he could help. The Gibson strap had no price tag. After he told me the salient features of using the strap with my ES 137 I decided to purchase one. I have had it for 2 weeks and have been able to play my 137 (I am 69 and it gets heavier every year!)for much longer periods without having to stop and give my shoulders a rest. It is easy to adjust and the most comfortable strap I have.That alone is worth the price.Thanks GC and Gibson!

But after trying it on, then using it for awhile, this strap is worth every penny. Fits and feels like a comfortable shoe. Highly recommend!

First off its expensive and its hard to justify the high cost. I have several straps (at least 15 from junk trash dig into your shoulder like a bulldozer to finer leather made). I must say, like the other reviews, I can certainly justify the cost after playing my 9 lb.,7 oz. gibson les paul standard for 3 hours with 2 -5 minute breaks in that time. WOW is really all I can say. Save your pennys and dont do what I did and try to use just any old straps you find or think they look cool. This is the best strap I have EVER used hands down. I still think its way over priced, but when you really need the best strap ever made, they can charge what they want. Go get it, you won't be sorry. However, if you think its not worth it, I have 12 straps I'm trashing or selling to someone else that thinks this strap isnt worth the money LOL

These straps are expensive, but the memory foam makes a huge difference. I've owned several small straps n most of them are junk, they fit ok, but then they start to dig in, its cuz theres nothing there to support it n cushion out the edges digging in. Well worth every penny, everything Gibson makes is usually good quality.

I purchased this strap based on the great feedback, style and comfort. I like the narrow strap combined with the thick shoulder pad with Logo. I use this on my Gibson Acoustic and find it extremely comfortable. The build quality is excellent and I can see using this for a long time. The discounted Guitar Center Price was hard to beat. I would highly recommend this strap for both Solid Body and Acoustic guitars.
