Les Paul Studio Electric With Carved Maple and Mahogany for Dynamic Tone
This guitar combines the tonal depth of mahogany with the crispness of a carved maple top, delivering a rich and balanced sound. Mahogany enhances sustain and resonance, while maple introduces articulation and clarity, ideal for cutting through dense mixes. Ultra Modern weight relief reduces fatigue during extended playing sessions without sacrificing tonal integrity. The SlimTaper neck profile complements the body's ergonomic design, allowing for seamless transitions between rhythm and lead playing. Together, these elements create a responsive instrument that delivers warmth and brightness in equal measure.
Gibson Burstbucker Pro Humbucker Pickups for Legendary Tone
Featuring Burstbucker Pro pickups, this model captures the essence of vintage Gibson tone while offering modern flexibility. The neck pickup delivers smooth, rounded tones for melodic passages, while the bridge pickup offers a sharper, more aggressive sound perfect for driving rhythms. Push/pull coil-tapping controls add single-coil textures to the tonal palette, expanding sonic possibilities for studio and stage work. With balanced output and dynamic response, these pickups ensure clarity and articulation across clean and overdriven settings, making them ideal for expressive performances.
Advanced Electronics for Precision Control
This guitar's intuitive electronics layout ensures effortless tonal adjustments. Independent volume and tone controls provide precise shaping for each pickup, while the three-way toggle switch allows for seamless transitions between configurations. Push/pull coil-tapping functionality adds versatility, letting players switch between humbucker and single-coil modes with ease. Whether dialing in rich harmonic leads or defining punchy rhythms, the electronics are designed for responsive control, ensuring that every nuance of your playing is captured with precision and clarity.
Durable Construction for Reliable Playability
The Gibson Les Paul Studio is built for long-term reliability with premium materials and thoughtfully engineered components. The Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge and aluminum stopbar tailpiece ensure stable string vibration and sustain, while the Vintage Deluxe tuners maintain consistent tuning even under heavy use. A molded Graph Tech nut minimizes string friction, enhancing tuning stability and smooth playability. These features, combined with Ultra Modern weight relief, make the guitar a dependable choice for demanding gigging and recording environments.

Stright out of the super padded gig bag The Studio Les Paul played like a dream. Its pickups sound great. Action is great. Fret work is great. And it did not weigh as much as a Standard Les Paul. I got it as my last guitar. I always wanted another Gibson. ( I had a Gibson 30 years ago, but like a dummy, I traded it in.)
Love the look

Received as a gift. Hadn't really had chance to play it, but looks great. Looking forward to that and hope I can make it sound as good as it looks

Having owned two Les Paul standards that had to be returned due to X reason, I'd sworn off Gibson. Enter the studio. I have yet to find any reason to complain about this guitar. You can go with the session for limited bells and whistles added on but given how high quality this studio is? You may want to grab one before Gibson realizes they can make more money off of these. If this is the direction Gibson continues to go? I intend to keep an eye on what they release. I own a PRS custom Core, A PRS Custom 24 CE and a Fender pro II tele deluxe and I have to say this hangs with the best of them

I love that it's lightweight rather than heavy like the older styles. This make it easier as a female to play it. I got the wine red because it is so beautiful. The action is already set low so I didn't need to get it adjusted. I really like this guitar and would recommend it.
Finally, I own a Gibson LP!

I have been a loyal Fender Strat guy for all my playing years. Then Epiphone released the IBGC Jeff Beck Oxblood, so I bought it and was blown away! Gave me LP fever! Went to GC and a Wine Red beauty was hanging there screaming at me to pick her up and put down the used Standard I was strumming. So I did. I strummed and played and teared, then laid down the money and brought this baby home. Wow!! Love it! Can't put it down! And so, my Strats cried…

How much does it weigh exactly? Can't seem to find that.
The Gibson Les Paul Studio Electric Guitar in Ebony typically weighs between 8 to 9 pounds (3.6 to 4.1 kg). However, exact weight varies slightly between individual guitars due to differences in the wood grain and density.submitted9 months ago
