Gator's Transit Series Bass gig bags are designed with a 49.2" interior and feature a durable, weather-resistant blended fabric on the outside while keeping your guitar safe with 20 mm thick foam padding and a plush, micro-fleece interior lining. Unlike most gig bags, the Transit Series gig bag has a rigid interior within its frame for more case-like protection, especially designed for protecting the headstock, neck and bottom.

The Gator Transit Series Bass gig bag's padding is also adjustable and removable to better accommodate your particular axe. Other cool features include thick rubber tread on the bottom to prevent wear, a large zippered pocket on front for your necessary accessories, padded, removable backpack straps for easy transport or a molded, padded handle for a more secure, comfortable grip. It's even got several D-rings for clipping more accessories, making this a convenient gig bag for the musician on the go.

    Excellent case. More durable and protective than a gig back and not a heavy hard case. Very padded and protective and well made. I pulled the heavy hard badge off the flap and cut off the metal buckle that tends to slip loose -replaced with carabiner. Should last years.

    I use this bag to go from the house to practice to gigs. I love the padding and the extra rubber protection on the bottom. The backpack straps make it real easy to carry and they come off if you don't want to use them. The only thing I don't like is the hook that secures the pocket flap. Would much prefer a clip better. But overall it's a great bag.

    Accessory bag lock could use a clip instead of a hook.
