Think First!

This is great case, it's not very padded, but for stands and such you don't need much padding, just something durable to hold them. While it does that wonderfully, you may want to think first of the weight. Think about how much one stand weighs, not too much, now image 5, 6, drum stool. It all adds up. I recently traveled to New York to play and only needed two stands and my throne. We had a couple blocks away, and let me tell you, lugging this thing around New York was horrible. It was extremely heavy! While it's a great case, you should also think about getting one with wheels as that would make traveling MUCH easier. Just something to consider...

Hoping for more padding for the price.

I was hoping it would be a bit more paced for the price. I am using it for mic stands and other thing generally lighter than drum hardware. Does the kid for my purposes.

I have not used this bag for drum hardware yet but have used it to house art tubes and such. It is a nice bag and the material is nice. High quality zippers, etc.

  • I bought two middle sized Hardware Bags,

Just got these two Hardware Bags. Have not used them yet. I bought two middle size ones, because the extremely long bag would be too heavy to carry.

  • 13x50" Bag has absolutely NO padding.

The 50" bag has absolutely no padding or structure.. It's just an expensive duffle bag. I will be returning this item.

    Dear Guitar Center,
I am just looking for a bag to handle my cymbal stands, high hat stand, and bass drum foot pedal.
Can you recommend which size would be appropriate. I already have a trap case and cymbal bag, but on small jobs I don't want to lug the trap case around as I have 2 drum sets now.
 Respectfully,
Larry

The smaller size should be enough to accommodate your gear.
