Better Fit than Dunlop Large

Other thumb picks I've tried cut off circulation completely. These are a snug enough fit that my skin is discolored underneath when the pick comes off, so it's VERY solid on my thumb, but there must be just a bit more room than the Dunlop large-sized thumb picks. Something is more forgiving, because the Dunlops make my thumb fall asleep, and the Bumblebees do not. I like the sound as well, and while the actual black pick is built to wiggle a little so you can adjust it, I didn't notice unwanted movements at all while playing. Again, these fit my thumb just perfectly, so experience may vary, but I think these will be my go-to.
Interesting Idea, but I still prefer the Slick Picks

I love the Fred Kelly Delrin Slick Picks. I use them a lot. When I play jazz though there's something about the sound of my bare thumb that works with my hollowbody. The slick picks are too aggressive for that guitar in general. So I end up doing a Joe Pass impersonation keeping my pick between my lips while I play with my fingers. I was hoping the Bumblebee Jazz picks would be a solution. They are only a partial solution unfortunately.

I like to play alot of van halen and looking for a pick that I could use normally but also free up my index finger for tapping runs. I can tap with middle finger but not as good. Would these work?
These picks should work well for the technique you're describing but you may want to test them out to make sure.
