After searching far and wide for the perfect Les Paul at a budget-friendly price point, I've finally found the one!! This is my first Les Paul guitar I've had so far. First thing's first, it looks splendid! The vintage sunburst really captures the old-school flair plus the finish is smooth and shiny! Second thing's second: It feels extremely comfortable to play. The slim neck is strong yet nimble, and the fretboard is solid and stable. No sharp edges on the fret ends thankfully. The action is perfect! I like it low to maximize ease on upward string bends. After playing this, my rare expensive fender strat which has been my go-to in the past feels foreign! Next, and most importantly, THE SOUND!: This guitar sounds, well, exactly like a les paul should....FABULOUS!! The pickups are perfect. On clean amp tones, the neck pickup sounds full, lovely, and pleasing to the ear, while the bridge pickup has more of a midrange-punch, which is great with reverb for that dusty desert blues sound. Now with distortion, the guitar undergoes a radical metamorphosis. Running through a fuzzbox is a good example. on the neck pickup, you get a thunderous wallop without being too overpowering and get some tremendous sustaining rhythm tones!! Switch to the bridge pickup and you have snarling, saturated lead tones that turn your playing into a wild firestorm of music that would NOT be possible without a Les paul. I've completely fallen in love with the epiphone Les Paul tribute and am so glad I have it! I'd like to give a huge thank you to Julian from the Murrieta guitar center for being super helpful with my purchase of this guitar!

If you're a fan of this model, especially this humbucker pickup selection, the volume and tone control knob locations are authentic.. I Love the Sunburst because it doesn't have much cherry or yellow… It's primarily beautiful, brown and black… The clear see-through black knobs are a striking edition… The neck although Bolt-on, feels fabulous… She stays in tune up and down the neck… I decide to pick one up as a Black Friday Special if it felt "right"…. so I couldn't be happier. I have two other Les Paul's, and this one isn't going to be shy around any of them!!.

I've always liked the Les Paul models so there's no doubt about what my choice was going to be for my first electric guitar. I have a classical acoustic that I've been learning on. I guess I was looking to change things up and try something new and I'm glad I did. I love the looks and like the sound.
