Epiphone Extura Prophecy Electric Guitar Aged Bengal Tiger Burst

Description
Unleash your creative spirit with the Epiphone Extura Prophecy solidbody electric guitar. Designed for rule-breaking guitarists seeking a bold tone and effortless playability, the Extura Prophecy combines the attitude of the classic Gibson Explorer with a narrower waist and deeper cutaway for total freedom of movement. At its core are a pair of custom Fishman Fluence pickups that unlock three distinct tonal personalities at the push of a knob—from vintage PAF warmth to hot modern punch to shimmering single-coil clarity. An asymmetrical SlimTaper mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and jumbo frets make the Extura Prophecy a high-performance machine built for speed and articulation.
Break New Ground With a Reimagined Explorer Body
The Extura Prophecy's radical pointed shape is an inspired redesign of the legendary Gibson Explorer. While its silhouette is instantly recognizable, a narrower waist and deeper cutaway open up the lower fingerboard for slick slides and finger taps. Crafted from mahogany with an eye-catching AAA flame maple veneer top, the Extura Prophecy resonates with depth and projection to complement its bold aesthetic. Custom white binding adds a touch of elegance to this unapologetically modern design.
Shift Between Three Distinct Tonal Personalities
At the heart of the Extura Prophecy are a pair of custom Fishman Fluence humbucking pickups that unlock three completely different tones at the turn of a knob. Pull up the volume knob for a warm, vintage humbucker voicing reminiscent of Gibson's hallowed PAF pickups. Pull up the tone knob for a hot, high-output humbucker tone suited for heavy rock and metal. Push both knobs in for a crisp, chiming single-coil tone ideal for funk and fusion. This pickup system gives you unmatched tonal versatility in one guitar.
Built for Speed and Precision
The Extura Prophecy's mahogany neck has an asymmetrical SlimTaper profile that feels fast and familiar. Its ebony fingerboard provides a smooth playing surface, while 24 jumbo frets give you room to roam. Grover locking Rotomatic tuners provide exceptional tuning stability under heavy playing. A Graph Tech NuBone nut, LockTone bridge and stopbar tailpiece boost sustain and string-to-string clarity. Take full command of the Extura Prophecy and unleash your vision.

Great neck, great pickups, great bridge, great everything.... The shape is dreadful. It forces your right arm into a weird position and gets pretty uncomfortable after a while. Also, it's bigger than a traditional Explorer, so there isn't a single case on the market that fits it correctly. Just don't.

Can the guitar have a pick guard installed?
To add a pickguard, you'll need to have one custom-made. Companies like WD® Music Products and Pickguard Planet specialize in creating custom pickguards. They can craft a pickguard to your specifications if you provide a detailed tracing or template of your guitar's body. This ensures a precise fit that complements the guitar's design.submitted10 months ago
