I play left-handed doom metal and I use to use the .88 flex picks and they were too rigid and too small. When I found out that Matt Pike uses these guys, I gave them a try and I will never look back. I know some here say that the grip is not great but the width of the pick makes up for it.

Finish on the pick is super smooth and provides no grip whatsoever. Pick literally keeps flying out of my hand.

  • Very good.

Ok the string it feels like, well, a pick. But I find it sticks to my fingers better than regular plastic picks. Also, I seem to bend picks. My fender picks always end up curved and have to toss them. These guys don't. Try them!

  • Good Picks, just the right amount of flex

All this is a personal opinion, but they work great for me.

  • Stick with your normal picks

Flexibility is definitely NOT like their nylon pick counterparts as in their description. If you normally play.73 I recommend using a size thinner (.60) to get the same feel/flexibility as Nylon. In other words, .73 FLEX and .73 NYLON are NOT the same feel/flexibility. It does replicate the warmer sound of nylon and wears similar to Tortex as promised. It's a good pick once you get the thickness sorted out.

I have been cycling through different thicknesses, textures and shapes. These seem to fit exactly what I have been looking for.
