Designed in conjunction with legendary Aerosmith rocker Joe Perry, this porcelain slide sounds soulful and bluesy, whether on an acoustic on your front porch or on a screaming electric in a packed stadium. The Joe Perry Slide comes in three sizes and features a porous interior to absorb finger moisture.

100% Unique

The Boneyard slide is the most unique slide that I own. It has a blues tone with a somewhat Hawaiian sound, which makes this slide stand out. It also has a moisture absorbing material inside to prevent it from slipping off your finger. The Boneyard logo and the Joe Perry signature make this slide a one of a kind.

Nice slide

I have a chrome, brass, and several glass slides, but none were short slides, so I thought I'd try this one. I was also curious about a porcelain slide. I have no real opinion on Joe Perry one way or the other, but then again I eat Jimmy Dean sausage and I'm not that big a fan of "Big John." So I figured I could live with the stupid image on the slide (what am I, 17 years old?). I like the slide, but the size runs small. I don't consider myself to have large fingers at all, yet the Medium is too tight even for my little finger. Plus it has some kind of gripping surface on the inside, which makes it even hard to get off. I use it on my ring finger, and it just fits far enough to stay on. Other than that, it's a nice, fun slide for someone with small fingers.

I was looking for a ceramic slide for acoustic guitar and am very pleased with the fit and feel of this one. It isn't has heavy as other's I've tried, and the tone is just what I was looking for.

  • Bare to the bone bottle neck slide.

Many great slide players use a ceramic slide like this one. Justin Johnson has his own signature ceramic slide.

Picking up on slide guitar, this slide was recommended and sounded great only drawback for me was the size, didn't have another to try Joe Perry to try.

It's a fantastic slide. However, I wish it was a wee bit bigger. I have huge hands and fingers and I'm only able to fit it on my pinky. I wish I was able to fit it on my ring finger. Despite this challenge, the tone and feel still beckoned me to purchase this slide and I'm happy with it. It's nice and heavy. Feels very sturdy. The inside doesn't cause sweat to build up and it stays dry even after long gigs.
