    I usually don't buy artist branded items but the shape of these picks are what attracted me to them, and the carrying tin which my order did not come with.

    for me, this was more of a test drive of the material and shape than a purchase because Hetfields name is on it. About the pick - I like the shape, went with the 1.14, which works good for me. The material def seems much harder than the standard tortex pick. As a matter of fact, playing some of the music I prefer (thrash/speed), I found that the tip was more durable than the sharp point, jazz III, or standard shape. Still test driving, but really do like.

    I chose the .73 mm. It works for me perfectly. I get great pinch harmonics and soft picking, as well. Also, good for aggressive picking if you're an SRV fan. James had a great idea designing these. Thanks, James & Dunlop!
